VIP Barbados offers a wide range of budget accommodations for visitors to enjoy authentic Barbadian ambience, culture and hospitality.
On this page are rooms in private houses and apartments attached to private homes, in typical Barbadian Communities. The areas range from upper middle-class to working-class environments. (All the areas featured in this section are generally safe, but as in any other foreign country, you are advised to exercise vigilance and caution at all times.) However, Barbadians are usually very friendly people and sometimes will speak to strange visitors as a form of welcome to their neighbourhood.
Rates will vary depending on: (1) Location Convenience (to shops restaurants etc.) and (2) Type of neighbourhood and quality of the lodging. Rates include: Use of Kitchen, laundry and entertainment facilities( T.V./Video/Computer/CD.etc.),2/3 day week cleaning of room and local phone calls. Food has to be purchased although an arrangement can be made for provision of meals by the hosts/proprietors at some lodgings.

Most vistors will need to take a bus to the city, shops and beaches or rent a car because the areas are inland. The beaches are never far away ( most 20 minutes) .
